Golden Eagle

Without a doubt seeing a Golden Eagle at Merlindale was one of the most thrilling moments Alex has ever had whilst bird watching. The Bird came fairly low to the ground scouring the area for a meal. Eventually the constant attacks from corvids forced it to move - at just 12 years old it took a moment for him to catch his breath.
