Hen Harrier

A fleeting glimpse but seeing this bird soar over Merlindale was like seeing a ghost. A male in full white plumage with the distinctive black wing tips. It was only after Alex had taken the picture and analysed it up close that he discovered just how lucky he had been to capture a skydancer rather than "just another crow" - curiosity does pay off!
